  4. Hawaii and Life Updates

    I’ve found that as of late it is hard to spend time and write long blog posts. I much prefer photo-blogging via my iPhone, which I think provides a pretty good indicator of “what’s going on”. However, every once in awhile its nice to have a text-based update!

    Life out here has been pretty good.  The weather is warming up and Ryan and I are looking forward to summer and enjoying being outdoors again.  Last week Ryan and I took our “first” vacation together to Oahu, Hawaii.  By “first” vacation I mean traveling actually for fun, not because of a honeymoon or visiting family.

    Being raised in New York, we would always vacation down in the Caribbean so this was my first time to Hawaii.  Although I prefer the warm water temperatures of the Caribbean, Hawaii was beautiful and gave us plenty to do!

    Back in December of January I was fooling around with Photoshop and realized that there is a very handy feature that allows you to make panoramas very quickly.  I took a bunch of photos while we were in Hawaii and stitched them when I got back.  I think the results are pretty good!

    Besides vacation, not much is new.  All of you know that most of this blog has been occupied by ridiculously cute pictures of Aidan, our puppy.  Aidan is now just as cool as mom and dad and sports his own Twitter account and blog.

    Hopefully, I’ll try to update more with text.  More to come …

  21. Preparing Aidan’s Food While We’re In Hawaii

    While Ryan and I vacationing in Hawaii, Aidan will be spending the week at his favorite place, Downtown Dogs. I figured I would get a jump start and bag all of his food tonight instead of late on Sunday.  I sure enjoyed all my time with the label maker!
