Always thinking. Always dreaming.

  1. Internet People

I always wondered how I wasted my time on the internet.  And now I have a three-minute video showing me.

  2. Really Bad Movies (And Some Good Ones)

Ryan and I spent most of our time this weekend working on our wedding website (I’ll post it when completed) and watching a lot of really bad movies (and then some good ones).  Here’s what went down this Labor day weekend:

After watching all these movies it’s sad how stupid American culture has become.  Eurotrip, Van Wilder 2 and SuperBad made me cry inside and wish I could get back the hours I lost.  However we were lucky to round out the weekend with some good movies as The Incredibles, Chocolat, Monsters Inc, and The Little Mermaid reminded me that movies can be good.

  3. MySpace Owns FaceBook

I hate MySpace – probably for every reason anyone with an ounce of web design and usability experience does.  I’m not even sure why I have a MySpace page – but I do.  So when I logged on the other day to detail the tons of spam from my inbox I was surprised that in the top right hand corner MySpace was advertising it’s localized Spanish version.  Clicking on International in the top right hand corner brings up a page listing all of the different languages they are available in – at this time I count 24.

Facebook needs to step up their game.  They are a smart company, so I am sure that  they are preparing to start providing localizations in other languages on their site.  It will be very interesting to see how much more Facebook can grow once they roll out this feature request.

In the mean time – kudos to MySpace for rolling out this feature (even if I am a bit late to the game to post about it).
