When I’m busy, yes, I just don’t have time to post. A few months ago, I was really looking forward to having a relaxing summer. Without a full time job and only a part time job and summer classes to worry about I figured this would be a relaxing way to spend three months. Class in the morning and the rest of the day could be spent lounging by the pool, hanging out with friends and whatever else can be classified as just plain having fun.

Boy was I wrong. Summer school at MCC has been a lot of work. Five week compounded classes that are normally supposed to be fifteen weeks don’t live for much free time at all. I’m currently enrolled in an Applied Calculus class. I spend three hours in class, for four days a week (twelve hours), and then on average of three to six hours a night on homework (twenty four hours). Holy crap! Thirty six hours a week? Well, at least I know I have a work ethic.

Come next Thursday, Calculus is over. Thus, I can regain the next part of my summer. My sister will be coming up for a week and then I can concern myself with only my part time job and enjoying the company of friends.

What could be better than that?

Oh, and the random photo? Ryan and I made sushi a few weeks ago. It was tasty!
