    When I was in California a co-worker had shown off his sporty pair of shoes one day in the office. I thought they looked pretty dumb until I decided to try them on. And oh my god was I hooked. As the Crocs site says, their shoes are the most comfortable and versatile shoe that anyone will ever own. Basically they are a new breed of shoe that mix the comfort of clogs with a space age material.

    Arriving back in New York, from California I had a lot of unforseen expenses and procrastinated on buying these shoes because I didn’t need them. When I finally got the guts up to ordering them, they were backordered for almost a month (I ordered blue, a popular color).

    They finally arrived around two weeks ago, and since then I have worn no other pair of shoes. I went to Walmart and purchase a big ‘ol bag of white socks to wear with the shoes. Since wearing them around campus I have gotten a lot of comments from, “Those are interesting” to “Dude, I saw those in Michigan . . . I didn’t know they were on the east coast yet,” to “Where can I buy those?”.

    Of course they look a little funky, but really try ‘em out – you won’t be dissappointed.
