  2. Checking In . . .

    I haven’t checked in and updated my LJ in awhile. Life has been extremely busy. The holiday break was long and boring for the first week. Ryan came out for the second week and then break turned from dull to awesome. I showed him Huntington, Centerport, and Northport. We went to NYC one day and did China Town, 9/11 Memorial, Rockafeller Center, Times Square, Old Navy, St. Marks (Dojo’s) and went to see Rent on Broadway. Ryan and my dad drove me to the airport (well, Ryan drove me — my dad drove my suitcases). It was sad to say goodbye … but here I am.

    Hello from California. I’ve been here since Saturday. My room is really nice. I’m living with two other Apple employees - one that does software sales and the other that works on iTunes. There are random palm trees here (I’m living in San Jose).

    I went to the mall tonight with a group of California friends — Devon, Wendy and CC. We went to this place to eat called pasta pomodoro and the food was really good. The thing that amazed me the most was when we went to go and get some groceries. Hard liquor is sold at the grocery stories. I was able to pick up a 1.75 liter of Captain Morgan’s for my stay here — It’ll be some good times.

    Tomorrow I have work. I’m a bit nervous. Its one of those untouchable dreams and here it is. Well … I’m going to get to sleep. Since I have no car up here I have some really awesome coworkers that are giving me a ride.
